Artist description Laurina and Serapha have recorded three CD's to date: Angels, Melodic Torment and Totally Techno. Although Angels was released in 2000, it is both a collection of their early recordings and recent recordings. The title track, Angels, however, was recorded in 2000. Melodic Torment 2001 is Laurina's second release and features all new songs (22 tracks!). Laurina's first full-length techno CD, simply titled Totally Techno, features remixes from both Angels and Melodic Torment and includes one previously unreleased track, Andromeda! Most of Laurina's recordings are based on poems written by Serapha. Serapha, published poet and pianist, writes and plays most of the songs. She has transformed dozens of her poetry writings into musical masterpieces. Serapha never limits herself in her writings. She writes what she feels openly and on a broad range of topics. Serapha's poems have even been used by students for discussion in English and poetry classes. Many of Serapha's poems can be read in the poetry section of Laurina's official web site. A talented musician as well as a writer, Serapha will surely enchant her listeners with her unique style and technique. Her music will create vivid images in your mind--taking you through a musical journey! Laurina sings all lead vocals and backup vocals, but does write and play some music. Laurina's style is often referred to as "pop opera." She sings in both pop and opera styles. Her sometimes eerie, solemn, opera-esque vocals will send chills up your spine. Her voice is very powerful and her style unique! Pop, Opera, Techno, Soft Rock, Classical and Instrumental have all been used to describe their recording style. Their sound is original, melodic, mystical, haunting and spiritual. The musical versatility is amazing. Their songs will leave you feeling inspired and enlightened!
