Artist History Mike and I work together. I've been playing music for almost 20 years. After writing many songs, I decided I needed a partner to help with many aspects of the business side of music. Since Mike played bass, it seemed like a logical progression. Anyways, the first song we worked on was "Twilight". It was a slow, country-esque ballad that seemed to flow seemlessly around our instruments. Since I had just bought a Trinity (Korg) we were able to lay some drums to it and it sounded really professional. Unfortunately, fake drums never seem to replace real skins, so Mike suggested we add another member to our band. He had a high school buddy he had known since they were kids. He was a great drummer, and could play many styles. Enter Ron. The three piece was finally complete and began forging new sounds, one of which is "A Day at the Pond" featured here on the website. I wrote the riff to it in 1995 while sitting around in my bedroom recording on a little Fostex 4 track. Later, I added the background rhythmn which you hear behind the solo. The song came out great. I titled it "A Day at the Pond" because I am a big Mighty Ducks of Anaheim fan, and would have loved to have had this song as the theme song for the pond. Mike, Ron, and I are continuing to write and are focusing our efforts on music for movies, videos, and video games. If you have a special song request, we may be able to accomodate you.
