Artist History
zero:two:zero:eight are David Johnson (Co-Writer/Guitar/Bass/Programming) and Jo Brazier (Co-Writer/Keyboards/Singer).
zero:two:zero:eight was founded on a broad musical background. David first started playing keyboards when he was only 6, and soon found himself more and more drawn into technology. At 14 he knew to record and mix in a little analogue studio at his senior school, and by 16 he was developing his multi-instrument skills along with his songwriting. He spends his time now between college, a 16-Channel Pro-Tools Suite and his own 24-Channel Project studio. Jo Brazier started playing flute when she was 11 and soon began experimenting with keyboards and composing her own songs. At 15 she joined a youth band at her church as a singer, and has since sung in 4 other bands. She now spends a lot of her spare time writing, recording and performing her songs in public.
The aim of the band is clear. We want to create an alternative to mainstream music that give people an uplifting feeling and takes them out of there lives for 3 or 4 minutes. It's music you don't have to work hard at to listen too, but when you do look at it its very thought provoking and spiritually deep. |
