Artist History
Out of the ashes of 80's HEAVY METAL comes a band called HAIZ RAIL. In 1989 this aggressive hard-hitting group began their journey into the metal lands of Rock-n-Roll. Their first CD "D'RICULOUS", was released in 1991. By this time, the guys had already started to venture outside of their hometown Greensboro, N.C., playing venues across the state. In spite of local success, unfortunate mishaps caused the band to go their separate ways in 1992. A few years later, HAIZ RAIL re joined forces with only three original members. After switching out two rhythm guitarist, the guys found their missing link. Now that the same awesome foursome from 1992 were back together again, writing new material was their main focus. The bands first live performance since 1992 came in 1998 when they played a local benefit concert. From that point on, HAIZ RAIL developed a hunger for the stage once again! After countless club dates, 1999 brings their long awaited follow-up CD, "take off your pants and jacket". This release brought airplay on local radio stations such as, 94.5 WKRR and 90.9 WQFS. Thanks to dedicated HAIZ RAILers, CD's and merchandise sales, the guys were able to go back into the studio once again. As a result, their new CD "HANG ON TO THE RAILS AND RIDE " was released in the year 2000.
