Press Reviews
..."Anji The Fay is making solid women rock (yeah, girl power!) that is
combinated with new wave and soft metal"..."what surprises me most are
the ballads as Anji gives them such a mystic character that the spirit of Enya
is always somewhere around" .... Didier Becu/The First Sins Newsletter//////////
..."There are two sides of Anji The Fay's music. The first is a very professional
kind of pop music that's commercial, but whereas I find most mainstreamish
music bland, this is definitely not! Anji is too talented to write bland songs,
and also her music has a timeless quality rather than the sort of music that
sound commercial just because it conforms to current fads/trends.
The other side of Anji's music I like even more. This is excellent folk-inspired music.
Dreams has an ethereal yet very strong melody, accompained by didgeridoo,
percussion and synth, The Fay has a traditional-sounding tune, accompained by
fiddle, percussion and synth, and Dolphins Play is a guitar-pop song with folk elements.
Really well written stuff" ... Kim Harten/Bliss Aquamarine
