Artist description
The band formed in Phoenix in the summer of 1999, and has remained a staple of the music scene ever since. With their grassroots approach to promotion and hard work, they have carved out a strong name for themselves from the many. Its members came from other Arizona bands (Dislocated Styles, Bldg5, Windigo, and John) and all have a history in music.
4614's music can only be classified by the listener. Some say heavy, some say rap, some say political and some even think comedic but the fact is the band writes music to express their opinions on real life issues. All songs are based on the belief that music can be used as a tool to educate as well as entertain. The band is currently writing and going through pre-production recordings for their new record "Red Flag.” which will be released in the fall. |

Artist History
A 4614 demo was released in 2000 and immediately gained the band national attention. Even without internet, radio, and record store support, they sold over 1500 copies in under a year and began work on the full length. The record titled "Guilty By Association" was recorded with two of Arizona's finest recording studios; Mind’s Eye Digital and Launchpad Audio. It was released independently in 2001 and is still selling strong today.
Singles from the record have also been played on KEDJ The Edge, 98 KUPD, 101.5 The Zone, Power 92 and The Blaze radio stations. With constant live shows and a new record behind them, a strong Arizona fan base emerged bringing them the opportunity to share the stage with national acts such as, Henry Rollins, Insolence, Alien Ant Farm, Phunk Junkeez, Staind, Nickelback, Boy Hits Car, AFI, Edify, and Hometown Hero among others.
