Artist History
Born of Punk/Ska influences in sleepy Marietta,
Georgia, the boys of What Not quickly earned a reputation
as an Atlanta act not to be missed after playing several opening slots for Michigan
punk/ska ne'er-do-wells, Mustard Plug. After losing two members
to the emo/punk group Whippersnapper (Lobster Records), the band's sound
shifted into the power-pop realm: incorporating three-part
vocal harmonies and melodic guitar phrasings into the
already energetic sound the band had developed. |
