Press Reviews
Then it was time for the last band, Moderate Gene. This band had only been
together for 2 or 3 months & I was very impressed. They are a hardcore punk
band w/old skool flava. They seemed to have their ethics in order & appear
to be pretty good songwriters. They were also pretty tight for being together
for such a short time. These guys are probably one of the best punk bands in the area now.
-JD from Masterdik webzine
After that was Moderate Gene who is probably the best
straight-up punk band from the 3 cities next to BLC &
maybe another band or 2 I'm not thinking of now. They
are a hardcore punk band (alot of those on this night)
which is somewhat political. They haven't been around long
either. But they're pretty fucking good. If you live in the
area, haven't seen them, & fast punk rock is yr thing...you
must see these fucks.
