Artist description
I'm not about to sound all conceited by describing myself, so I'm having a friend put her unbiased and totally honest description of me. I pray that she only writes about my vocal ability.......but if I know Kim, she'll have something to say. So.....don't believe everything you read!! HEHE!! :) "
Kim Lewis:
Susan has an awesome voice that when mixed with her beautiful inner and outer persona can compete with even the most talented female artists. Anyone who has ever seen her perform would agree. She has a natural presence on the stage as if she was born to be there. An abundance of pure talent. Critics and fans everywhere would agree Susan Lea is the show to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist History
"Well, I would love to say that I've had thousands of dollars worth of voice lessons, but unfortunately I've never even had one. Oh well. However, I've performed in and won several talent shows throughout junior high and high school. In spring of 1991 I sang the National Anthem in an 89ers ball game, and then went on to sing shamelessly in karaoke bars. It was a sad sad thing. On a happier note, then I sang Foolish Games on the very first Freak and Talent show on KYIS FM and won first place. Consequently, after hearing my performance Dawn Michele called the radio station and gave them her number so I could call her. The very day that we spoke on the phone I went to a Devine Earth practice session and sang along with Dawn Michele. After that....I was a co-vocalist for Devine Earth. We played in bars in Norman, OKC, and Edmond, and I loved every minute of it!! When the band broke up I continued to sing off-stage with John Markham, Scott Goldman, and the love of my life Dan Hollingsworth. We never actually performed, but we jammed as much as possible and sometimes recorded the jam sessions for fun.
Recently I started singing for an un-named band with John Floy (http://www.johnfloy.com) Markham, Amara Markham, and Ben Odom. We're currently taking a break because Amara is pregnant and I'm going to school full-time on top of working full-time. So that is when John and I decided to start this cd. I am so looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say about it. I know you'll enjoy what you hear. John and I mesh well together....I'm sure you'll agree!! Fell free to let me know what you think!! Thanks for visiting and please come again!!! Buh-bye!
