Artist History It all started about 5 years ago, back in the summer of 96. Max Power began with three dudes meeting while working at Taco Johns. After a couple years, We all decided to start messing around with music. Matt taught himself to play guitar, Nick learned bass, and Travis began singing. We messed around with cover material for a while, until we decided to get a little more serious. Then, in the fall of 2000, Matt showed us some songs he had written. Max Power enjoyed "making" music and that's where we are today. We still do covers, but our heart really goes into the originals.
