Artist description
Maureena is a passionate, powerful vocalist and a very gifted songwriter. Her 31/2 octave range sounds like a Sarah McLachlan/Linda Ronstadt tag-team.
Her dynamic performance skills are well deserving of the multitude of awards bestowed on this vivacious vocalist.
The up-coming album, Midnight Saga, promises a pluthera of unadulterated "gotta get me some!" singles.

Artist History
Maureena has been a special guest for such luminaries as Glenn Frey (Eagles), Brooks & Dunn, Jeff Carson, and Headlined the Legendary Desert Inn in Las Vegas.
The award-winning vocalist is a favorite among the critics like Paul Zollo, Performing Songwriter Magazine, who wrote: "like the best vocalists she knows when to hold back and when to let it go...evoking the spirits of classic singers from Patsy Cline to Linda Rondstandt...and when she lets go the effect can be chilling."
Maureena swept the 2000 CCMA awards show. The two-time "Vocalist of the Year" walked away with an unprecendented seven awards, including "Best Album" and "Best Band".
Her sold-out New Year's Eve show at The Orbsmy House brought in the local news crew and earned her Carson City Television's "Entertainer of the Year"
Maureena is currently recording her second album Midnight Saga. Singles are already available for download on MP3.com and at Maureena.com
