Artist History
I started off rhyming over instrumentals on boomboxes. But Mantronix's "Fresh Is The Word" inspired me to make my own beats. Lyrics from Melle Mel T La Rock and Rakim inspired me to get deeper into my lyrics. I started rhyming over orginal Casio keyboard compositions and used two tape decks and a dj mixer to overdub scratches and additional vocals. The Casio SK1 sampling keyboard changed everything for me, now I was making doper beats and getting deeper into the vibes. After learning about four tracks I finaly bought one with my IRS tax refund. Since then I have added gear along with the knowledge and tricks to be able to get my ideas on tape. |
