How and when did Flatfield form? Flatfield agree this is a very big question Q.3. How is the name relevant to the band? We are “Fen Boys”. The area we live in, East Anglia, is all flat fields. Q.4. Does your music have a message, if so what is it? Don’t let women, love, money, press or death rule your head, “go with instinct”. Q.5. Describe the general routine for writing a new song. Dave says he has flash lights in his head, hears melodys that wake him at night, sometimes 3am, he gets up and works it out on his guitar. Q.6. Which member of the band like to take charge? We all do, which is bloody annoying! Q.7. Which member likes to create havoc? Dave often has beer thrown over his head. Q.8. What has been flatfields biggest acheivement so far? A gig at the second biggest Beer Festival in Britain Q.9. What are the bands plans for the future? To do less gigs, make less money than any other band in Britain, give our songs away and turn the whole greedy music industry on it’s head.
