Artist description
Ernesto is now in great demand both as a soloist, and in ensemble with other
folkloric artists from his region. He has played at all the most important
venues in Argentina.
He has recorded more than 100 pieces as a soloist, and has participated in
various other recording projects, some of which have featured his arrangements
of Argentine music.
In 1999 he was invited by the Argentine record label EPSA to record a CD for
their collection 'Guitar Music of the World'. The Cd is entitled 'Alma Guarani',
and it features music from the 'Litoral', which has been arranged and composed by Ernesto.
Guest artists that appear on the CD include Juan Falu and Ramiro Gallo.
Ernesto is the Artistic Manager for the Parana region of the famous
'Guitarras del Mundo' (Guitars of the World) festival that takes place each
year in venues throughout Argentina.
In addition to his concert work, Ernesto is teaching in the school from which
he graduated, the "Instituto Adventista del Plata" in Villa Libertador San Martin,
in Entre Rios.
In November 2001, Ernesto made his first concert tour of Europe, giving recitals
in Frankfurt, Berlin and Heildelburg.
In April 2002 he has been invited to give a concert at the Festival Hall in London.
A book of his original compositions will be published by the Gendai Guitar
series in Tokyo. |

Artist History
Ernesto was born in Parana, in the province of Entre Rios, Argentina, in
August 1968.
He began to play the guitar in early childhood, learning from his father,
a respected composer of music in the Argentine tradition.
In 1993 he graduated from the Provincial School of Music, Dance and Theatre in
Parana, where he was a student in Eduardo Isaac's guitar performance class.
He went on to attend numerous courses both in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay
with teachers such as Jorge Martin Zarate, Miguel Angel Girollet, Eduardo
Fernandez, Alvaro Pierri and Eduardo Isaac. |
