Artist description
Startling aggression and abrasive power explodes
outward with radiant intensity from the chaotic
minds of A.M.F. Though originated from Brazil,
the band maintains a metal styling that
incorporates straight-edge metal with traces of
thrash, rock harmonies, and classic metal
equipped with guitar solos and instrumental
interludes. Metallica influences are evident as
well as Slayer and bits and pieces of other
various metal acts including Machine Head,
Megadeth & Sepultura. The approach is fast &
furious, dominated by crushing, groove-oriented
bass rhythms and massive percussion attacks &
insane drum rolls. Guitar riffs are metallic and
slicing, unleashing edged aggression with the
ability to switch to more melodic variances.
Raw, hostility is expressed through the band’s
demonic songwriting that incorporates vicious
breakdowns, explosive outbursts and unrestrained
fits of complete rage & chaos.

Artist History
In August of 1998, Bianchi (guitars), André
(bass and vocals) and Fred (drums) formed A.M.F
with the proposal of doing a heavy and aggressive
sound, which reflects the feelings of each member,
in an explosion of ripped riffs and contagious
blows.
After some months, incitated by friends and
people who have watched the trials, the members
of A.M.F choose "Pride", "Growing Up" and
"Dignity" for being recorded in a demo material.
As the three songs where recorded, the band
decided to extend sessions and transform the
supposed demo into a CD, and in January 1999
brought reinforcement with Patrick (guitars) to
complement the group.
Due to the constants interruptions on the
recording process, mainly because of not having
money, the album took two years to be finished
and, during this period, the band made lots of
concerts in the local underground scene, beginning
to have a short public that asked for some
recorded material.
Beside keeping the studio material under lock and
key while acquiring money for pressing the album,
A.M.F released on the Internet 8 of the 9 songs
from the disc in mp3 format, letting,
consequently, that many Internet users and
specialized webzines turned their attention to
the musical proposal showed by this band from
Curitiba (Brazil) which have in its lyrics
consistent and abrasive social intent.
The positive comments around the world and the
inclusion in the Unrestrained.net Compilation
(USA) where crucial facts for appearance of
support to finance this debut album ( "A New
Speech for an Old World Full of Shit") totally
independent which promises to be the beginning of
the carrier of a band that have much to offer.
