Artist History UVR was formed in September of 1995 in Tracy California by Chris and Justin. Chris was a senior at West High School while Justin was a freshman. Next to Join was Bassist Ben McCloy in 1997. Chris, Ben and Justin then sought out Patrick Ziller to be the rhythm guitarist. Patrick, like the rest had come from West High, and he had been one of the core members of another cool Tracy band, Longshot. Out of the swamps of Walnut Creek grew Todd brown who was a star of the east-bay group The Spectors. UVR and The Spectors played together many times, and when Todd became a free agent, UVR sought him out, and the band became a five piece
