I am a guitarist and write songs in other styles too, but I am reserving this space for my electronic experiments, even though these days the distinction between the electronic and analog production veins are blurring. Artist History I produced my first electronic piece on a 540c Power Book laptop computer. I was working as a security guard during my first couple of years at SDSU. I worked the night shift so I would take my laptop to work to do papers and what not. A friend of mine Tyler had a Macintosh G3 with some cool programs for making music, one was mod traker called player pro, That program basically lets you use what ever sample you want and use it in compact and sensible way. The Dogs was orignally produced on my power book. As slow as it was I was amazed that it produced such good sound. Eventually I got a hold of a blue and white G3 that I used to make the final version of The Dogs that was used in a local dance production in town called Continuums II. The other songs were produced using other programs on my G3.
