    Artist History
Simplekill is a 5 piece emotional-driven nu-metal band ranging from various parts of South Florida. They include a hard, abrasive sound combined with raw aggression and influences of punk-rock and melody. Simplekill can be comparable to Deftones colliding with Nonpoint and Finch. While building quite a reputation for having intense and energetic live show, the band performs as many shows as they can. Their accomplishments include opening for national acts such as Drowning Pool, ILL Nino, Clutch, Coal Chamber, the "Don't Try This At Home" tour featuring members from MTV's "Jackass", God Forbid, 40 Below Summer, Mushroomhead, Avenged Sevenfold, Nonpoint, and Shadow's Fall, while also remaining famous for their numerous shows with Poison the Well, Darwin's Waiting Room, Crossbreed, Endo and more. Watching the band perform live, vocalist Panjo screams with raw emotion to get the crowd hyped, while also singing to show off his true talent. Guitarists Jeff Martin and Kerry Smith spew out heavy and melodic riffs while bassist, Matt Pickton lays down heavy grooves and full tones. Drummer Jon Sperry plays intricate grooves, patterns, and rhythms that adds an extra layer of emotion to each composition. Simplekill has released their long-awaited debut release entitled "Shear Confidence" in August of 2002. Check out Simplekill.com for information on the CD, tour dates, and more. "Simplekill is a great new band coming out of southern FL, watch out for these guys in the future, they are tearin' shit up!" Raychul @ Nosebleed17 (www.Nosebleed17.com) "SiMpLeKiLL just fucking blew my mind in there, their really good, good band, good young band with a lot of energy." - Robb Rivera (Nonpoint) (http://www.digital-noise.net/journalism/nonpoint.php) "Simplekill are a Deep, powerful metal band with intricate guitar riffs, fast churning beats and raging vocals. Young and talented, with only one way to go... UP " Paul @ Flip9 Promotions (www.Flip9.co.uk) "Down to earth and hard rocking don't seem to be two phrases that mix, but with SiMpLeKiLL, it is a completely different story. SiMpLeKiLL has found the fine line between darkness and beauty. One listen to the enormous power and sound that these guys bring upon their music will leave you breathless; waiting and wanting more of what's to come. This is SiMpLeKiLL. They deserve to be heard." Nicky @ Nillo Promotions (www.Nillopromotins.cjb.net) "Essentially, the most unreal performance of complete onslaught and terror to be given life from the south Florida music scene." Skweels @ Floridaunderground.net "Having Seen Simplekill play live various times i must say SiMpLeKiLL delivers one hell of a show every time, they never let down. They're a Raw, young, talented band with one of the most original sounds that I've ever heard. Bitches and boys If you like it hard, heavy, and melodic I STRONGLY Suggest giving Simplekill a listen, and be nice to your neighbors Blast that shit up loud." Jose @ Digital Noise Network (www.digital-noise.net) "Simplekill manages to easily showcase their talents & potential, and, given the time to fully explore their ideas and coalesce into a cohesive unit, Simplekill should have no problem as becoming the next prominent metal act to emerge from the Florida music scene..." Robert Thompson @ Dynamick Rock (www.dynamickrock.com) "Simplekill is one the better known bands in South Florida. Known for their heavy hitting sound and their bumptious attitude, Simplekill is slowly acquiring a thickening disparate fan base. Their heavy metal sound has a lot of hauteur and power. If you like Sepultura and Nothingface then walk yourself over to some real music like Simplekill. " Simplyjam staff (www.simplyjam.com)
