Artist description
Project hal can best described with the 3 h's that define our music:
Honest, Hi-tech, and Heavy.
We started this thing back in the summer of 2000...coming together to form today, what was then, just an idea. We wanted to mix two very different types of music, hardcore and electronic...but only using the standard gear: guitar, drums, bass, and voice. Through experimentation and sheer boredom we have achieved a good mix--and are still continuing to progress and add more sounds and styles.
Our songs provide musical ups and downs, which sets an excellent stage for the emotional lyrics and shifting vocals. Our basic idea lyrically: take all our negatives, and turn them into a positive outlet--a great band. We work because we're the best of friends, and we have a common interest. Project Hal relies on the collective strengths of it's members, and creates a sound you will never want to forget... hi-tech melody, intelligent heaviness, and pure honesty.
