Artist description
Momentum. Crushing. Unstoppable. Three words help explain ONE 30 EDGE to those who dont know. In their time together, the band has continually moved forward, determined to blaze their own path and drag the rest of the heavy music world along with them. Not content to be imitators, ONE 30 EDGE has created a sound that has put them head and shoulders above the rest. While others clamor to hop aboard the bandwagon, ONE 30 EDGE has turned it over, smashed it to pieces, and built a bonfire with whats left.
The bands debut CD sold out in mere months. Demand from fans forced the band to release a live CD that quickly sold out as well. The bands latest release Violent by Design promises to attract new converts and propel the band to another level. The album was recorded at Classic Studios in Bristol VA and was produced by Mike Stephenson. Mastering was handled by Seva of Soundcurrent Mastering, who has previously worked with artists such as C.O.C. and Superdrag. The unique style of the cover art will be immediately recognizable to metal fans as the work of Travis Smith. An internationally known artist, Smiths work has graced releases by Skinlab, Death, and Nevermore, as well as the comic books Butcher Knight and Violent Messiahs. The cover is but a hint of what lies inside. The 10 tracks on Violent by Design comprise a sonic testament to the bands brutally innovative style of metal.
Wherever they go, ONE 30 EDGE pulls in new converts with their unique sound and roller coaster ride live performances. Not surprisingly, the band has cultivated a large, intensely-loyal following in its native Southeast, but the word is spreading. The media have already begun a steady buzz about the band. Both print and online sources have helped fuel interest in the band nationwide, as well as internationally. The bands official Web site attracts thousands of hits each month.
So what good is hype if you cannot back it up? Well, ask anyone who has ever seen ONE 30 EDGE live and they will tell you that this band is the real deal, as fans from Georgia to upstate New York have already seen. Shows with Century Media recording artists Skinlab and Spitfire recording artists Pissing Razors helped expose even greater numbers of heavy music fans to what will undoubtedly become one of the most respected and influential bands of the new millennium. If you have heard the name, then you know whats up. If you have not, remember it. ONE 30 EDGE. You WILL be hearing from them again......... |
