Artist description
Mambé, labeled a "dynamic Dominican band" by Billboard Magazine, is one of the more exciting Latin music groups. Their music has been described as a fusion of tropical and rock with Reggae, Ska, and merengue influences. The result is fresh music that remains true to Mambé's Latin roots. Mambé, which is currently unsigned, recently performed in New York at S.O.B.s, Jimmy's Bronx Cafe and Remy Lounge. In addition, Mambé performed at the Latin Aids Ride Awareness Benefit (Club NY) and as part of the Heineken/MP3.com Summer tour (Elbow Room).

In addition, Mambé was named to the "Mejor Grupo de Rock" list in 1999 and "Chica Beeper" ranked #2 in "Las mejores 10 canciones de rock local des los '90."
