Artist History
Phil has been into music since 1991 when he began playing guitar. After a few years he was writing original songs. Leaving High School in 1995, Phil studied at the Nelson School Of Music. He focused on recording in the studio, and recorded some demo tracks. During 1997 in Nelson, Phil joined together with Rich Neame on bass & Dave Herbet on drums, then later to have Norm Dufty (The Puddle) on drums. In 1998 this group of characters studied at the Nelson School Of Music. Phil spent many hours in the studio recording band tracks with Liquidelirium + solo material, and by the end of the independantly created 'Liquidelirium - At the right place at the right time'. In 1999 Phil left Nelson and went to Christchurch. He then joined musical forces with Garry de Gaia to create 'Cybernine', (electronically designed sound and visual frequencies for your human listening pleasure. Debut album '1999' was completed and released 30.12.1999. The last album of a millennium. Cyber Nine are currently working on their next album, which will be a music CD with CD-ROM data, containing graphics, animations, and extra music. Independantly recorded, produced, and marketed by Cyber Nine, on their own label 'Futuretech Soundscapes.'
