Artist description It is not everyday that you may hear music focused on what is seen through the eyes of an open, lively individual, one who truly feels and dreams. Instead most notes, lyrics, and attitudes in music today revolve around one similar message or mood, without touching bases with reality and showing that there is more to life then the obvious. Sadly society decided to accept the unknowledgeable and unaware opinions that come from the creators of the single themed music which are over played on radio stations each day. Now it is time for a change and hope for one can be placed in Jeta. Jeta originally formed in August of 2000; together they played for a year until the departure of four members because of differences in musical interests in August of 2001. The off going of the initial band mates can now be viewed as a blessing in disguise, because in March of 2002 Jeta regrouped with the addition of three new members to the two surviving ones. Today they have one of the most amazing line ups consisting of Kevin Lee Burns, vocals, Jeremy Kinnick on keyboards, bass player Josh "The All Powerful" Kinnick, drummer Tiffany Cruz Calles and guitar player Seth Bannister. These five individuals bring all of their feelings, thoughts, and attitudes and put them into their music, they play with all of their heart longing to touch the hearts of others. With everything that each member gives and the unity and strong bonds between Jeta they have an amazing band chemistry and produce one of the most unique and original sounds you'll hear today. The motives of this So-Cal band are not the ordinary ones that most musicians possess. Jeta longs to touch people and grasp all of their thoughts and feelings eager to give them strength and hope when need be and a place to escape when life seemingly gets too tough. Jeta also stands to reinstate positive messages in music. They want to cover all of the emotions that a person experiences rather then holding strictly onto one or two feelings because in actuality life consists of more then one emotion and everyone goes through them all. Life in fact is a major topic in Jeta; it is what they are all about. Actually the name Jeta, first chosen by one of the former members, was found to coincidentally mean Life in Albanian after the previous band mates left. Another very admirable trait of this Alterno-Rock-Pop band is that, Image is nothing. You won't find Jeta outdoing it with their style, or any attention grabbing act. Instead they choose to present themselves straight up. Jeta shows you who they are, they tell you how they feel, and they want to make you aware as to what they think. The five members who make up Jeta are some of the most down to Earth and REAL people you can come across. They don't want to be anything that they aren't and they do not try to be anyone but themselves. Musically, Jeta combines the previously unheard and undeveloped sound that is present in their music with the unique and amazing tone of Kevin's voice and together they create an exclusive sound only able to be reached by great talent. The magnitude of talent that Jeta possesses is almost absolutely untouchable allowing them to step forward as well distinguished musicians and as fantastic role models. By observing and listening to Jeta's lyrics you will realize how true and amazing they really are. Now is the time for truth to be told. There is more to life then what is evident, or what is heard. We must realize that all people can't help but feel, and that these feelings vary. Many frequently search to find something to guide them, and want something to help give them strength. Strength and guidance is what you will find in Jeta. You may be looking for a way to live, searching for why you exist, or wanting to find something in synch with how u feel, the answer is simple, Jeta is life.
