Artist History Solo Piano, Hidden Passages Quietly composing a growing collection of piano solos over a period of several years mostly for his own enjoyment, Garrett reached a point where he knew it was time to risk exposing his soul and "creative jugular" by performing his hidden piano passages publicly. The first opportunity to perform his piano solos came in 1994 when he was invited to play for the opening of a photography exhibit at the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, Delaware. Soon after, one of his songs was selected as the theme for a weekly television program. People began requesting tapes of his music. Garrett says the next step for him was a "giant leap of faith" followed by two years of figuring out how to record, arrange and co-produce his first CD. This soul-soothing collection of piano compositions, now known as *Hidden Passages, is the fruit of his labor. * Download 3 songs for free on MP3. New Music AC Pop/Contemporary Country "The Music of Garrett Flynn" With the goal of building upon and branching out from his solo piano roots, Garrett's current songwriting path includes the new challenge of learning the often underestimated craft of lyric writing. South Philadelphia Producer/Arranger, Anthony Newett, is instrumental (no pun intended) in delivering Garrett's latest 3 musical creations from the drawing board to the final mix. Garrett is staying busy keeping these 3 songs next to the ears of as many music industry players as possible with the hope of achieving eventual placement in film, television, or on an established artist's recording. These 3 tunes will soon be available through MP3 in the D.A.M. CD format under the title "The Music of Garrett Flynn". "That Was You", This uplifting song of gratitude, written as an anniversary gift to his wife, features Kelly Casey on vocals. Music genre usually classified as Contemporary Country or Contempory Christian depending on which expert you ask "Say Yes", A romantic Country ballad featuring Larry Krebs on vocals. "Forever Friends", A heart touching Adult Contemporary ballad featuring the soulful vocals of Jennifer Burgoyne.
