Artist description The Haints are a rock n roll band from Bristol TN/Va. Combining a large array of influences into a rootsy sound with a sense of new age rock traditionalism, finely tuning their once unstructured and improvisational sound from their past life as KillCity into a high voltage rock n roll machine.Tons of Garage,Glam and Street rock influences abound as the band puts a kind of urban folk gloss to their dangerous lyrical poetry. A tight knit outfit reminiscent of sweaty booze inflected rockers of the late sixties underground the MC5, Stooges, Velvet ilk, and the Sleaze drugs and rock n roll aesthetics of the eighties, the youthful spirit of old school punk without the anger and political pitfalls of younger punksters . This is definitely a triumphant return for a good old sound done in a totally new rawer style but devoid of traditionalist cliches.
