Artist description Chrome Flies have come into existence through the minds and talents of Andrew and Mike Nehra. Collaborating and sharing the vision of Chrome Flies is guitarist/songwriter, Eric Winebrenner. The Nehra brothers have landed successful attribution through their production, songwriting, and musicianship on recordings with Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise(RCA) as well as production and co-writing accolades on Kid Rock's multi-platinum "Devil Without a Cause". After touring and recording with RBBS and building a respectable following, Andrew and Mike chose to focus all efforts on Chrome Flies. Drummer Matt Chamberlain(Wallflowers, Garbage, Fiona Apple, Macy Gray) also engaged with Chrome Flies during the tracking of the current collection of songs. "All our energy has been directed towards capturing timeless sensations represented in each song. These recordings have been delicately treated so that anyone can listen to the songs today or ten years from now," lead singer Andrew Nehra expresses. "We all contribute to the moment as it develops, sharing ideas or swapping around instruments. All the songs are captured in their early magical stages and are developed as we record them," states Andrew. Included in these recordings are some tasteful string arrangements from featured members of the Detroit Symphany Orchestra(all of which has been recorded and produced at the Nehra's White Room Studios in Detroit).
