Artist History Passionate about music all of her life, Cate began playing classical piano at four years old and picked up the guitar at sixteen. She soon began to sing, write, and record her songs on her own. A former member of the Boston-based band Ruled by Venus, Cate is now pursuing a solo career, recording her thoughtful and touching tunes in New York City and playing her music around Boston.
