Artist History
In the short year since their beginnings in August of 2000, Buzby’s current lineup have found themselves on stages all over the East Coast from Boston to Atlanta. The bands tour schedule has quadrupled in the past year and their fan base has followed suit. “Break The Silence,” Buzby’s debut studio CD, was recorded in the winter of 2001 at David Lowery’s well known Sound of Music Studios in Richmond, VA and represents a culmination of the band’s sound and direction. Buzby has enjoyed exposure in several radio markets around the country, including WROQ, rock 101 in Greenville, SC where DJ Brian Blades exclaims, “We love the disc!” Described as a “Groove Factory” by the Boston Globe, Buzby’s music combines elements of jazz, rock, and groove with tons of vocal harmonies, saxophones, mad guitar riffs, and solid musicianship. The band has been furiously climbing through the local and regional ranks and no doubt will bolster their ascent with “Break The Silence.” If you haven’t seen them in your area, chances are you will soon. |
