Artist History Bed Of Nails Was Begun To Replace An Earlier Incarnation, Bad Machine (Which Was A Fun-Jam Hobby Project). At This Juncture, Xvektor, The Abstract, Minimalist, Psychotic Project Split Off And Began Its Own Chest Beating-Teeth Gnashing Thing To Satisfy The Dark, Obsessive Urges Of Alan. Robbie, On The Other Hand, Being The Consummate Guitarist, Needed More Structured Challenges For His Creative Outlet. Bed Of Nails Was Born! Relying On His 20 Years Of Guitar Playing For The Backbone Of The Band, Robbie Began Writing Simple, Yet Intricate Guitar And Mandolin Structures Upon Which Alan Layed Down His Vocal Harmonies.
