Artist History Since forming in early 2000, 10 SECOND DROP has played throughout central Florida. Based in the Tampa Bay area, they soon caught the attention of Clear Channel RADIO STATION 98 ROCK(WXTB), playing many of the stations live remotes and concerts. One of their most notable accomplishments is playing the annual Livestock festival two years in a row, featuring the best national and local acts. 10 SECOND DROP also has the distinction of being named the "Best band in the Bay", by television station, MORE TV 32. Winning their Battle of the Bands competition in February of 2001 and proving themselves as a powerful live act. The band was then featured on TV 32's late night show, GEN-X 2001, with an in studio interview with live concert footage. In June of 2001, 10 SECOND DROP won the Rolling Rock Battle of the Bands after three rounds of competition. They earned the opportunity to open for national recording artists Tantric, Oleander, and Beautiful Creatures at the Rolling Rock Rolling Tour in Orlando, Florida. The win also advanced the band to the national level of the RockStar 2k contest to compete for a record deal. With completion of their new CD, 'EMOTION SICKNESS', we have only begun to see the potential of this four piece unit. Their well-crafted songs and "in your face" guitar sound leave the listener wanting more. With even more great original songs in the live show, you can be sure the best is yet to come from 10 SECOND DROP.
