Artist description
There is a force to be reckoned with and that force is melody. It is a force that is timeless. It is a force that can penetrate straight to the core of mankind. But...like any other powerful force, it can be used correctly and incorrectly. For the right reasons and the wrong reasons. If used correctly, this force can change lives, minds, how food tastes, bad to good, good to bad, how the weather makes you feel, the world. If used incorrectly the affects can be just as catastrophic. This force could start making you hate music, lose hope, fight, feel the urge to vomit, fear that the next generation may never know REAL music. There is one band in particular that exemplifies the Correct use of this force..... If you ever have the privilage of walking by a dark and lonely club one night and you hear something that makes you forget your surroundings, your problems, your insecurities and cultivates up memories of the best times of your life and maybe the worst, but yet the worst moments don't seem so bad for some reason, and you just are glad to be where you are at and nothing else matters in the whole world at that moment. You should feel blessed because you will of undoubtedly crossed the path of the beholders of the most powerful force in the universe....The Classic |

Artist History
Its a struggle for me to recollect the history of our band, seeing how that time in my life is a little blurry, due to all of the treatment of course. There we were. Three ugly, goofy looking kids with really bad posture sitting in a circle. You see it was about two years ago that we met in our psycho-therapy in Beaver Creek Hospital. Each of our psychologists had refered us to this group which helped individuals with their Delusive Schizophrenia. There are a wide variety of delusive schizophrenia, but each of ours was rather mild. I had what the doctors called at that time "Delusions of Grandeur." For like a year or so I believed that I was this real famous Country and Western Singer from the 1950's called John Honkey. Anyways, that was who I became. I really freaked everyone out. I would wear these crazy cowboy out fits, and I talked in this southern accent. Well there I sat in my 10-gallon hat next to Turtle. Turtle started going to the group about three weeks after I began. His problem was a lot different than mine. He had what you would call a more paranoid schizophrenia. I had no idea what he had for about two months. Everytime I would say hi to him he would turn his head real slowly and look me square in the eye and then all of a sudden scream at the top of his lungs "quit saying that to me its my birthday." I never really quite understood what that meant, but later the doctors told me that Turtle had this false beleif that someone was controling his thoughts. Dean on the other hand had been going to group for a long time. I'm not sure how long, but at least 6 months before me. First off Dean is just a strange character to begin with. By the time I met him he had almost controled his Schizophrenia. His delusional schizophrenia was of persecution. All the time he always thought the people around him were plotting against him. I remeber we used to go to Denny's after group and everytime the food would come he'd always say, "Hey Jon, what's that behind your back." And then, when I would turn around, he would switch our plates, like he thought I had put poison in it or something. Since then we've been great friends and started a band together. By now we have been able to control most of our problems, but all I have is western shirts to wear because I bought them in bulk, and Dean sometimes thinks everyone is conspiring against him, but other then that things are just f |
