Artist History
Formed in October 1999 as Pilot Soul in Foggia, Italy, the band changed their name to Emo in March 2000. After a series of well-attended shows in their hometown, Emo released their first promotional CD ("Sister Solitude") in June and embarked on a national mini-tour that lasted until the end of the year. The year 2001 saw the band appear on several independent Italian festivals. In the meantime, the band launched their official web page and appeared on a couple of TV rock shows which increased their popularity. Emo are now a rather well-known name in the Italian underground and plan to release their second promotional CD by March 2002. |
