Artist description rain42 is the offspring of two Toledo, OH bands: End Over Aja and Bob's Iguana Pastry Shop. Keith Lammers and Mark Pannell have been collaborating together for over five years and finally have a stable lineup to deliver their musical creations to original music fans. The band's eclectic blend of modern rock, pop, and decades of influences defies any given genre of music. The trio play with an overwhelming intensity that never buries the subtle nuances of a carefully-crafted song.

Artist History Keith Lammers and Mark Pannell have been playing together in various projects since 1995. Mark started the band End Over Aja in January 1994. Keith joined a year later. Unhappy with the musical direction that Aja was taking, Mark left the band during the summer of '96. Keith followed six months later. Mark and Keith paired up and laid the groundwork for what would become Bob's Iguana Pastry Shop. The two spent the next year writing material and performing with bassist Paul Reese. Full of creative energy, but short on ambition, the band faded away before they had a chance to shine. Over the next three years, Keith and Mark played together occasionally. In late 2000, Keith rejoined former End Over Aja members Victor Dass and Brandon Lammers, Keith's brother, in a heavier project. For the first time in years, Keith stepped out from behind his guitar and handled vocals as his sole responsibility. During this same time, Mark had paired up with original End Over Aja bassist Sean Hertzsch in a slightly poppier project. After a few short months, both Keith and Mark realized that they're current musical ventures really weren't "them." They're musical chemistry and six years of friendship rose to the top and the duo once again began collaborating. The pair began writing and rehearsing material and searching for a bassist that clicked musically and socially. Newcomer David Mueller fit the bill perfectly. The completed lineup is currently booking shows regionally with plans to expand further by year's end.
