Artist History
The story began in May 2001....a then 21 year old guitarist/composer from England and a then 19-year old vocalist/songwriter from the USA met by chance online.
After hearing eachothers solo music they decided to embark on a trans-atlantic collaboration. Out of this came the piano-laden epic 'Dancing In The Rain'. After completing this they decided to take things further and work on some more songs, resulting in the blues-rock of 'Oh Baby Please' with some of Liams best lead guitar to date, the piano string based beauty of 'Somewhere In The World' with Anni's voice making the hairs on your neck stand on end and the tale of jealousy and rejection 'Looking On Yesterdays. After a few months of working together the relationship between Liam and Anni blossomed and they finally met in January 2002 in the USA. They have since married and have a son. But music is still extremely important to this dynamic duo and in summer 2003 they returned after a life-enforced break to write and record new material, the first of which is the completed 'You're Going Down'. It certainly is an amazing story and has resulted is some equally amazing music. There are lots more potential gems in the works and watch this space for the as yet untitled debut album which is sure to be a hot ticket. In October 2003 Liam and Anni signed to the Los Angeles-based label Statue Records and are now known as Soulpower.
