Artist History
The band started in the summer of 2000 in Milwaukee, WI after singer/guitarist/songwriter Jerry Bakkus decided to make a fresh start from their previous band he was in and write completely original pop/rock songs with an edge. The band then added guitarist Matt Miller in early 2001, and bassist Dave Pawl in the summer of 2001 with drummer Andreas Exarhos and recently added vocalist/guitarist Nick Kubina completing the lineup. The group has developed an impressive live sound and they have left audiences stunned performing at such desirable venues as The Globe East, Reed Street Station, and The Music Connection, all located in the Milwaukee area. Bakkus was a finalist in the Local Music Showcase 2 contest at Cascio Interstate Music in July and will has a song featured on Cascio Interstate Music's Local Music Showcase II compilation CD. The band was also featured on Madison radio where they were interviewed and performed songs live over the airwaves and internet. The band has also recorded a professional EP entitled "Burning Bridges ...and Learning to Swim" that gives a small glimpse of their diverse styles. This EP is currently undergoing the opportunity to be featured in movie soundtracks and television programs. Currently the band is practicing and playing out on a regular basis and building a strong fan base all over the country as well as the world.
