Artist History
Sitting in his flat over looking the campsie glens, Del was working on a new song, being unemployed Del couldn't afford to buy any more instruments other than his acoustic guitar. This was a source of great frustration for Del, as he had so many ideas for how he wanted his songs to sound but he was constrained by not having the resources to do them justice.
In an effort to clear his head Del went for a quiet drink in a local pub, after a while the pub seemed to be getting strangely busy, un be known to Del it was open stage night and the regular crowd were arriving to hear the local musicians and performers.
So Del sat and watched as various people took to the stage.
Unimpressed by the last few act, Del was about to leave until he heard the crowd cheer and shouts of "is there any beer in the fridge". Intrigued by this, he had to stay to hear who was receiving this applause. One man stepped up on to the stage with just an acoustic guitar it was Geo. He went on to sing the classic "is there any beer in the fridge", which went down a storm and really got the punters going.
Later on that night, over a few pints Del and Geo got talking, and Aphelyon was born.
