Artist description Unconscious Mind are a group producing electronic music which occasionaly spans multiple genres, but mainly seems to settle into Drum & Bass, with the odd bit of commercialised trance and hard house in an attempt to please the masses (this rarely works). We (we being Josh Clarkson & Paul Richmond, with the occasional input from Joe Meegan) have been producing for about 2 years, and, for the last 8 or so months, have produced some reasonable material (all material from before this time is kept safely on computer, never to be heard by anyone else). Most of our reasonable material is available for download in mp3 format in the 'tracks' section. In an attempt to get some people listening to our music, we opened an account with avantnoise.com, and put our tunes up for sale, but a lack of users means no one is even listening to our music, let alone buying it, so its going to all be available here for free, and hopefully I'll be able to persuade some people to listen to it. Obviously, we would love to release some music on a proper record label, but getting attention is difficult. However, we are in contact with DP Recordings about releasing a hard house tune we made (embarassing though this could be) and are thinking about producing a bit more hard house, probably under a different name to keep Unconscious Mind for our breakbeat, drum & bass and weird techno offerings.
