Artist History
Officially formed on December 31, 2001, Supercell has quickly become one of Dallas, Texas most talked about new bands. Collectively, they have decades of real-world stage, recording and writing experience making them immediate veterans of the Texas music scene. With influences, ranging from old-school Top 40 Pop acts (Madonna, Duran Duran, U2, Bon Jovi) to current crossover Alternative/Pop-Rock bands (Our Lady Peace, The Calling, Oleander and Goo Goo Dolls), Supercell has created a unique blend of new and old sounds that will have you laboring to define or classify them.
Only a few months after releasing their debut EP, 5 Degrees Left of Normal, SUPERCELL began fielding calls from record labels (majors and indies alike, both U.S and abroad), entertainment law firms and major booking agencies, all requesting more material and expressing interest, in the bands future development. Having shared bills with many major label touring acts, such as Grammy nominee Bowling For Soup (Jive), Sheryl Crow (A&M), John Mellencamp (Polygram), Something Corporate (Drive Thru), Seven Channels (Palm), Dishwalla (A&M), Deep Blue Something (Interscope), Sugarbomb (RCA), Vallejo (Sony), SUPERCELL also frequently find themselves sharing stages with many of the areas top drawing regionally based artists, as well.
In addition to numerous music website recognitions, frequent regional FM radio spins and steady worldwide airplay on XM Satellite Radio (Ch. 52), SUPERCELL has on numerous occasions been the special featured band, on countless band-oriented websites. Most recently, SUPERCELL was tagged as one of 5 Best of Latest American Rock bands by MP3.com and Budweiser; who pressed 10,000 copies of a Premium Compilation CD that included their 1st single Walk Away, which was distributed throughout live music venues, in Europe, in the Spring of 2003. Add to all of that their captivating, energetic and emotionally charged live show and one can not resist being anxious to experience for themselves what many in the music industry are already raving about.

Please listen to this band; I beg you!
Drue Mitchell (On-Air) KDGE 102.1FM
They sound like they have been writing rock hits for decades.
Lynn Hernandez (On-Air) KEGL 97.1FM
Bands like this don't come along every day.
Jay, Popbang Radio (Popbang.com)
There is enough talent to make anyone turn their heads and take notice. Everyone is talking about Supercell lately.
Becca Conklin, DFWScene.com
They could justifiably claim to be one of the best unsigned rock bands in the US.
Andrew Ellis, Popmatters.com
Walk Away is packed with enormous hooks, catchy guitar parts and enough sing-able melodies to make Matchbox 20 jealous. Look for Supercell to make some serious waves.
Kevin White, Harder Beat Magazine
Supercell is a perfect example of what the people want to hear, what radio should be playing, and what labels should be signing.
Tracy Stevens (Editor), Sugarbuzz Magazine
