Artist History I was playing in a band called Your Waking Dream in 1992-93, when I recorded some demos on a rented 4-track. The minute I got finished recording them, YWD decided to break up; Heaven Piano Co. was born. The band was influenced by everything that was happening in 1993 - My Bloody Valentine, Galaxie 500, the whole thing. I asked a bunch of friends to get a live band together, we jammed weekly for a few months, and sounded bloody awesome. Unfortunately, Heaven Piano Co. died 1 year later. In that time, 25-30 songs were recorded. Two songs appeared on compilations: "Perfect State" appeared on Leisure Terrorists, and "Tatum O'Neal" was on the Cows Go MU benefit CD for CFMU-FM. What appears on this website is basically what I've managed to scavenge off the old tapes before they disintegrate. Will Heaven Piano Co. return? I dunno. Write to me if you think it should.
