Artist History The band has only existed in its present state for a few weeks after the addition of a second guitarist (Charlotte) , prior to this the band was a three piece with only Gareth , Steve and Simon. The "original three" formed the band after the demise of their other bands (Kerosene , Mavis , Moriarty etc.) and have quickly built up a large collection of original material. The band has gone through many changes in its short existence , some in personnel (Stuart Spiller and others having brief spells with the band) but also some in sound. The band as a whole has moved on from its original grunge roots to a more melodic mixture of the very heavy and the very mellow. (elapse) played as a three piece for a while but there was always something missing , a gap left by Gareth's former band partner Gareth Maude (Scarred bride). Former Orifice guitarist Charlotte Ripley then joined the line up and has fitted perfectly into a band with a sole direction...up.
