Artist History
Big Al & the Kaholics started out as a trio in 1996. Formed by Matt Connell(vocals/guitars), Steve Snelgrove(bass), and Chris Ashton(drums) the band soon set out to find that extra kick to enhance their sound. It was apparent after jamming with Mark Frank(vocals/keyboards) from another local band that the chemistry between them was inspiring. After years of playing covers and originals with an exhaustive schedule it was time to get in the studio. The result is their debut CD 'HYPE'. With an avalanche of pure energy, intelligent lyrics and melodic content, HYPE will get in your face whether you like it or not! |
