Artist History
Well, in late 1996', Justin answered a "drummer wanted" ad in the paper. That's when Justin met up with Travis (guitar). The two quickly started writing their own music, but never really found a bassist, or singer. This carried on until about late 1999, when Travis met Collin (singer) in college. Collin played drums for the band "6pak" at the time when him and Travis became friends. Travis also met Casey (bass) through Collin, because Casey was 6pak's bassist. Soon after Travis met the two, 6pak's singer/guitar player left the band and left Collin and Casey stranded. Travis had mentioned that he knew a drummer (Justin), and that Collin should move to the vocals, thus a band can be formed. So after that, Justin took over the drummer seat, Casey stayed on bass, Collin moved to vocals/guitar, and Travis on lead guitar. In January, 2000, "notion" was born. Justin had come up with the name, because he like the word. The band has been growing stronger and stronger every day since. |
