Artist History
In early 1998 the central florida music scene experienced the birth of CHOKEHOLD. This unit, like a well oiled machine has dominated such venues as: The Legendary
Station (Fern Park, FL), Liquid Cellar(Orlando, FL), Barberella's (Downtown Orlando, FL), Skull Kingdom I-Drive (Orlando, FL), FairBanks Inn (Orlando, FL),
George's Hideaway (Orlando, FL. For the Melissa FOX Show (104.1 REAL radio), O'Malley's Alley (Ocala, FL), Ground Zero (Merritt Island, FL), The Brevard County Fair (Cocoa, FL), Hotel California (Malabar, FL), The Hustler (Indiatlantic, FL) and others. Chokehold placed first in Crossroads (Palm Bay, FL) annual "Battle
of the bands" including 27 of the areas best talent, the winner chosen by sponsor as well as popularity vote. As the bands songwriting evolves, Chokehold has developed a steady, devoted and growing following. In early 1999, Chokehold released "Disturbing Behavior" (Self-produced), which was nominated 2nd best record of the year in
"Brevard LIVE" an entertainment publication. Chokehold continues to pound the central Florida music scene with goals set on a recording deal and a national tour.
These four talents represent musical expression like no other. |
