Artist description Askai is a 19 year old urban-raised suburbanite; a mild-mannered video game junkie with an active mind and too much computers and spare time.

Music Style Almost any form of electronic music I've created at some point or another. Most of my songs are experimental drum n bass, trance, or trip hop however. If I had a guitar I'd do industrial (Leeb rules).

Musical Influences I listen to many artists, often Squarepusher, Radiohead, Noise Unit, Ovuca, Smashing Pumpkins, Cari Lekebusch, LTJ Bukem, or Bjork. I religiously purchase cds and vinyl, often grabbing 4 or 5 new albums a month. I also enjoy quality game soundtracks, such as Wipeout (Tim Wright), Need For Speed 3, and Sonic Adventure 2 (any of Shadow's stages, the rest sucks).

Artist History I started in 1997 when I created simple tracks with sequencing software to satisfy my own personal interest and endless quest for good music. In the following few pre-millenium years I competed in what seemed to be the last few one hour song tracking competitions on earth.
