Artist description Zeut is an eclectic group of talented musicians. Their varied roots and world class views create provoking lyrics, diverse sounds and a captivating touch. Zeut displays a very pop-rock world fusion sound with complex percussion and intense driving lyrics by a Kristi Vandewalker leading the way. A texture that flows throughout Zeut is the aspect of variety. The complex bass rudiments of Allen Burki give the funk attack like 'no ones brother'. Justin Peacock and Mark Serratoni are the purveyors of the rhythm realm. Robert Eldridge, the guitarist or Cheerio boy is the glue between Kristi and the band pumping out eclectic guitar skills rounding out the pop-rock world sound. During live performances you may hear an excerpt of a myriad of popular influences from Led Zeppelin to Stewart Copeland drum tags or any other out the world musical eclecticism imagined. Zeut has two CD's out. The first CD 'Inaday' was recorded in one day...hence the name. 'Inaday' can be characterized as pop folk funk sound whereas 'Lion in a Bucket'' has a little bit of more of a pop-rock eclectic sound. Other Zeut recordings may be found here exclusively. Zeut the word has several meanings. The band came up with the name during a secret meeting of the original members. The band can never reveal the real meaning to the masses. Let's just say it has lot to do with serendipity and the naughty zeut temptress of the lost 5th planet.

Artist History Zeut members met in Denver 1/96. Zeut has play well known Denver venues such as Herman's Hideaway, the Soiled Dove regularly & the People's Fair the past 5 years. Zeut plays in Keystone, Crested Butte, Fort Collins, and everywhere else in Colorado. Their sound has expanded and matured over the years. Zeut has opened for Merle Saunders, String Cheese Incident, the Badlees, and several other jam bands.

Zeut was Backpacker's Magazines official band for their 25th Anniversary held in Salt Lake City, UT in 98'
