Artist description
Yoshi Mihara is an accomplished blues and jazz
guitarist from Osaka, Japan. He was once called
"Osaka's Kenny Burrell".
One day, when he had occasion to play his original
songs on acoustic guitar with Shaw, who had been
exploring Brazilian music, they discovered it was
a natural fit. Soon, they began to gather at a
studio to record Yoshi's original songs live
with a percussionist, Yoshiya, who had been
playing with Shaw for quite some time.
The songs on this CD, "Aya" are the result
of their very relaxed creative collaboration.
It is his debut CD in the US from the Moonlight
Cafe label specializing acoustic flavored smooth
music by Japanese talented musicians. |
