Artist description
Music has decided to bubble up inside of me, like a shining river of light, laughter, bliss, sadness, and power. With Music, I feel lucky for one thing: to express myself. What we call "I" is simply a screen door through which music travels. By getting my ego out of the way of the creative process, the notes and ideas describe their paths and shapes. By being centered and grounded like the earth, I can give birth to sound and harmonic colors. My intuition and training get me into the core of the process to guide the phrases. I have disciplined myself to sit down at the piano, assume correct posture, clear my mind completely, and extend the energy into space. That people are here to share this with me is good. |
