Artist description The Promise is: A rocking 5 piece original rock band based in NY.. Their music runs the gamut from heavy electric blues rock to melodic ballads. There are even some songs with an Eastern flavor. Yet, there is a thread running through all of their music that gives them a unique signature sound. The band was formed in 1998 by guitarist Lee J Boice. The band is currently recording their 1st CD and can be seen playing in the NY, NJ area on a regular basis.
