Press Reviews
chuck_bunn: After listening to the Lady A blues band for the first time I was blown away. Lady A has that vocal quality that sets her apart from the rest. She has that earthy, gutty get down sound on the up-tempo blues that gets you completely into the music, then she draws you in with her haunting mellow voice on the traditional slow soulful blues. Then when you think you have heard it all she blows you away with her incredible harp playing remenicent of the some great legends of blues. The band is very tight with a great sound. Ric Arra the lead guitarist in the band rounds out the sound with his masterful Clapton like lead guitar playing blended with his own style. See them live or hear them on CD, you will be totally entertained. Blues Revue 7/99 |
