Artist description
Takehisa Takatsuki is a multi-artist with expertise in many instruments. This page is devoted to his computer-generated performances, all of which are characterised by a fresh, invigorating quality. Takehisa also has a page on MP3.com for his sax performances, which can be heard at the below.http://mp3.com/take |
|
Music Style
Smooth jazz, easy listening and Latin. While rooted in Jazz, Takehisa's sound is an original creation of his unrestricted imagination. In that sense, his style may be called "genre-less". |
|
Musical Influences
Sammy Nestico (the arranger of the Count Basie Orchestra). But he doubts that anyone would hear any resemblance or influence in the pieces on this page. :-) |
|
Similar Artists
No particular artist comes to mind. Takehisa's sound is seemingly conventional, yet somehow different. |
|
Artist History
Takehisa began learning music at an early age, and started up this project in 1995. The project "annex" itself would probably have been impossible without the Mac, sequencing software, and sound module, on which he relies quite heavily. |
